The main stages of selecting lamps for the tanning bed:
Check how long the lamps, which are currently installed in your tanning bed. 
Usually, these figures look through the tanning bed control panel (or token machine), it is enough just to look at the necessary information. If you are not sure of the data, you can call a service employee to make a measurement of UV radiation and report whether your lamps have worked their useful life or not.
Find out the length and wattage of the bulbs. In order to select the lamps for a sunbed, you need to know a few important parameters, in which the error in no case is recommended!
- The exact length of the lamps in centimeters. 
- Power consumption lamps in watts

You can look up these values, such as length (cm) and wattage (watt), in the documents of the previous bulb replacement or you can see these values on the bulbs themselves. 

IMPORTANT: Remember that if you have 180 watt bulbs and you want to put 230 watt bulbs it will either cause problems with your sunbed or you will simply "overpay" for the bulbs, which will still "give out" 180 watt. The wattage of your lamps depends on the ballasts that are installed in your tanning bed. Read more about ballasts "What are tanning bed ballasts?"

Do I need to change my starters? 
If your sunbed has starters then these too will need to be replaced. They last 1000 hours, but if your lamps have already worked 800 hours, then change the starters too, or you will have to pay again later for the employee to come out and replace the starters too. It is easier to pay at once and save on services.

! If you decide to save money on starters and you "do not burn" new lamps (usually a few pieces), then 99% - it's in the starter. 

What tanning beds don't need starters? 
Tanning beds that are operated with electronic ballasts do not have starters and do not need to be ordered. For example the following tanning beds are available: Firesun, Flexus, HiiQ, Proline by Hapro, Golden Sun, some models of Sonnex tanning beds.
Determine the "factor".
Oh that incomprehensible word "factor UVB" - do not worry, we have tried to explain in simple words, what it is in our article "What is the factor in tanning lamps?" To make a long story short: UVB rays stimulate the production of melanocyte cells, UVA rays help these cells "stain" and our skin darkens. Therefore, choose UVA and UVB averages.

Unfortunately, still in our country most of the clients of the tanning salon think that if they "did not blush" after a session in the tanning salon, they "did not get a tan". A "reddened skin" just from the lamps with a high coefficient of UVB, it is one of the reasons why it has become fashionable to put lamps with a factor of 3.3 or 3.6. With good bulbs and clients with a factor of 2.4 or 2.6 will achieve a great tan.
